Snowfall is just beginning in Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs after there was a dry area that persisted northwest of the City of Chicago while the rest of Chicagoland was enveloped with snow. A snow system is now covering all of northern Illinois, including the northwest suburbs.
Snowfall is expected to be most intense near Arlington Heights from 11 PM to 2 AM. About 1.3″ of snow is expected to fall by 5 AM. Flurries are expected to continued until about noon Wednesday.
At 10:05 p.m. there were no Winter Weather Advisories for any counties in Chicagoland.
