Elk Grove Village police responded about 5:01 p.m. Friday January 26, 2018 to a report of a bank robbery at the TCF Bank branch in a Jewel-Osco store in Elk Grove Village at 20 West Biesterfield Road.
The location is just across the street from Elk Grove Village Police Department headquarters, about 1100 feet away.
The suspect, who is still at large, is described as a male/white, about 50 years old, 5’9″, 180 LBS. He was wearing a black cap, black sunglasses, a black scarf over his face, and a dark blue winter jacket.
The bank robbery was described as a non-takeover robbery, and no weapon was described connected to the bank robbery.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of this unknown suspect.
People with information about the robbery are urged to call the FBI at 312-421-6700 or submit information at tips.fbi.gov.
