Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:26 PM Friday January 12, 2018 of a theft at Olive Garden, 630 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s small Vera Bradley handbag from her purse. The handbag was in a larger purse, which had been slung over the victim’s chair while she at dinner. The small handbag contained $80.00 cash along with the victim’s credit cards and multiple gift cards. The offender(s) then attempted to make an unlawful purchase with the victim’s credit cards.
The police release did not declare the location where the unlawful credit card attempt occurred.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, January 12, 2018 between 5:30 PM and 6:25 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:55 (hours: minutes).
