Grand Detour Illinois firefighters and paramedics responded about 12:30 p.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 to a report of a plane in the water of the Rock River near Pine Street and Ogle Street in Grand Detour.
Illinois State Police report there were two people on board the plane that crashed into the Rock River. Initially there are no fatalities reported, and the Illinois State Police report two victims have injuries that are initially believed to be non-life-threatening.
The fire department (MABAS Division 18) requested an interdivisional MABAS Box Alarm about 3:00 p.m. with air boats from as far as Fox Lake Illinois requested to the scene.
