Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:01 PM Thursday December 14, 2017 of a vehicle burglary at Autumn Leaves health care facility, 1625 South Arlington Heights Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the victim’s unlocked Ford F-150 pick-up truck, then used the garage door opener to open a garage door at an undisclosed location, and enter the victim’s unlocked 2013 black Lincoln MKX.
At the time of the police report, it appeared nothing was taken other than the garage door opener.
No information was available regarding how the offender connected the victim’s vehicle to the garage location where the garage door opener was operated.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 8:00 AM and Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 6:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 178:00 (hours: minutes) or about 7 1/2 days.
