Springfield police, firefighters and other authorities responded about 2:30 p.m. Monday December 4, 2017 to a report of a bomb threat at the Statehouse in Springfield, 401 South Second Street, Springfield, IL.
The Secretary of State confirms a bomb threat was called into the Capitol building at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, and the Secretary of State Bomb Squad is on the scene.
