Steven Tyler, Aerosmith frontman now touring with the Loving Mary Band, is scheduled to headline the 2018 Naperville Ribfest on July 7.
Organizers donating part of the money made from the appearance to Tyler’s charity Janie’s Fund is reported to be a factor convincing him to make to make an appearance in Naperville.
According to the official website for Janie’s Fund (remember “Janie’s Got A Gun”), the mission is dedicated to providing resources to help put the pieces back together again for abused girls — an estimated 68,000 children raped or sexually abused in the United States.
Tickets for Ribfest go on sale November 22, 2017 (ribfest.net).
