Chicago police and firefighters and paramedics responded about 3:31 PM Monday October 16, 2017 to a report of a jump or fall from an upper floor at the LondonHouse, 85 East Wacker Drive Chicago, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a man jumped or fell from the 20th floor onto the roof of the 6th floor.
The man might have hit a 9th floor balcony during the fall.
Engine 13’s crew on scene by 3:33 p.m.
Battalion Chief 1 reported the scene is a crime scene — released to police by 3:43 PM.
CFD Special Operations Chief 5-1-5 also reported the scene is turned over to police.
Chicago police are investigating a body in the roof light shaft on the 6th floor, after an apparent fall from an upper floor.
LondonHouse Chicago is a 20-story posh hotel with a rooftop dining area. The LondonHouse Chicago is directly south of Trump Tower and the Wrigley Building at the southwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Upper Wacker Drive.
