Naperville police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:13 p.m. Friday October 20, 2017 to a report of a fire at an Auto Body shop in the block of 600 west 5th Avenue, just south of Naperville North High School.
Firefighters on arrival reported smoke showing arrived at the shop on the 600 block of West 5th Avenue in Naperville to find heavy smoke coming from the roof and front door, and flames were in the duct of a painting booth, according to a news release.
According to Naperville Fire Department, the fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes, and thre was minimal damage because shop’s employees manually activated a fire suppression system.
