A second ambulance was requested by 2:08 PM — Arlington Heights Fire Department Ambulance 4 was assigned.
Crews on scene a report the crash involved entrapment about 2:08 PM, and requested an extrication response.
Southbound Route 53 traffic was backed up past Dundee Road about 2:40 p.m.
The crash was also reported on Waze.
