Pinch-hitting for Schwarber (LF), Albert Almora Jr. (CF) had a pinch-hit RBI single in the seventh inning, tying the game 1-1.
Cy Young winner Max Scherzer had a no hitter going for almost 7 full innings before Almora’s hit in the bottom of the 7th.
Game 4 of the best-of-five series is Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Chicago Cubs Jake Arrieta is scheduled to pitch tomorrow, also returning from a hamstring injury. Tanner Roark is scheduled to pitch for the Nationals.
