Bosch, Gaggeneu, Jenn-Air and Thermador brand dishwashers have been recalled because the power cords are at risk of overheating and catching fire.
The maker of Bosch (BSH), Gaggeneu (BSH), Jenn-Air and Thermador (BSH) brand dishwashers said consumers/owners should stop using the recalled appliances and contact the company for a free repair.
BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, (or BSH Home Appliances) is the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe, and one of the leading companies of home appliances worldwide. The Jenn-Air brand was acquired by Maytag Corporation in 1982. Maytag was purchased by Whirlpool Corporation in 2006.
The affected dishwashers from each manufacturer were sold between 2013 and 2015.
