Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:04 PM Wednesday September 6, 2017 to a report of a person assaulted in the parking lot at Nail Tech 9, 1590 North Rand Road Palatine, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that person was assaulted, bitten on the arm and punched in the chest.

A witness reported the disturbance involved theft of services and staff following the female suspect into the parking lot. The witness reported the disturbance occurred about 2:55 p.m.
The female suspect punched the staff member in the chest, and bit her in the arm according to a witness. The suspect fled in a vehicle and almost hit a staff member and hit two other vehicles while fleeing.
The suspect was described as a female with dark skin and blond hair, wearing a blue baseball cap and a blue jacket. The suspect was possibly captured near the Palatine Township building, 721 South Quentin Road in Palatine.
