Prospect Heights police responded Thursday night to a report of a stolen terrier mix puppy from the Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Avenue Northbrook.
The Heartland Animal Shelter in the Northbrook, Prospect Heights area near Milwaukee Avenue and River Road is also asking for the public’s help to find the stolen mixed breed puppy.
Harmonee, a 10-week-old terrier mix, was taken from the Heartland Animal Shelter Thursday evening. The puppy is on medication for an illness that requires immediate attention, the shelter said.
Heartland Animal Shelter said Harmonee was adopted and has a family waiting for her return.
