Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:40 AM Wednesday September 6, 2017 to a report of a male, age 12, hit by a vehicle at Elmhurst Avenue and Lincoln Street Mount Prospect, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a male bicyclist, age 12, was hit by a vehicle.
The incident was not reported to be a hit-and-run. Two hit-and-run incidents were reported in Schaumburg earlier this morning.
A 13-year-old girl was hit as a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Springinsguth Road at Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg about 6:22 a.m.
A bicyclist was also hit by a hit-and-run driver about 7:22 a.m. at National Parkway north of Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.
