Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:01 AM Friday August 4, 2017 of a witnessed theft of a concrete saw in the block of 1500 South Highland Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders stole a Stihl 1300 concrete saw, valued at $1200.00, while it was on the ground near a residential construction site.
The offender was described as a white male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The offender fled the area in a red Nissan Sentra with tinted windows with a second subject acting as getaway driver.
The direction of travel of the offenders in the neighborhood near Heritage Park and Juliette Low Elementary School was not specified.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
