WHO TO WATCH …
Rookie tight end Adam Shaheen (#87) from Ashland University continued to impress at Chicago Bears training camp Monday July 31, 2017, catching two touchdown passes from Mark Sanchez in a five-play span late in practice. Shaheen was selected by the Bears in the second round of the draft out of Division II Ashland University. At 6-6, 270 LBS, Shaheen possesses an ideal combination of size and athleticism.
Chicago Bears starting Quarterback Mike Glennon (#8) and the rookie quarterback from North Carolina, Mitch Trubisky (#10), who was the second pick in the draft. General Manager Ryan Pace has stressed repeatedly that the Bears plan to start Glennon this season and groom Trubisky as their quarterback of the future.
About 6,000 or more people are expected to attend the Chicago Bears practice at Prospect High School.
