UPDATE UNFOUNDED: Kidnapping of 16 Year-Old Female Reported at St Charles Rd and Villa Ave, Elmhurst Classified As “Unfounded” at 8:02 PM
Elmhurst police responded about 7:40 PM Sunday August 20, 2017 to a report of a kidnaping near St Charles Road and Villa Avenue Elmhurst, IL. Police received a report of a possible 16-year-old female victim kidnapped near the intersection.
The female victim was described as a 16-year-old female/white with blonde hair, and wearing a red shirt — abducted into a van.
The offending vehicle was described as a white work van with a lot of rust. The offending vehicle was last seen northbound on Villa Avenue.
Suspects are described as a male/white driver and a male/white passenger.
The possible abduction scene is about 3.5 miles to the full interchange of I-290 and Route 83, and about 3.3 miles from the interchange to eastbound I-88.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 7:30 p.m.
