Hoffman Estates police report that a Hoffman Estates woman has been charged with solicitation of murder Tuesday after investigating information they received that Bury attempted to solicit the murder of her ex-husband.
On Wednesday August 16, 2017, police received information that Bury, 36, residing on the block of 100 Hawthorne Lane attempted to solicit the murder of her ex-husband. Further investigation by Hoffman Estates police revealed that Bury allegedly solicited numerous people, including a friend of her boyfriend, in an attempt to commit the murder of her ex-husband over the last few months.
The judge barred Bury, who works as a massage therapist, from contacting her boyfriend, his friend or her ex-husband.
Krystyna Bury was ordered held on $250,000 bail on Saturday, according to Cook County prosecutors. Judge Laura M. Sullivan ordered her held on home electronic monitoring if she was unable to come up with $250,000 bail. Bury’s next scheduled court date is Thursday September 14, 2017.
