Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:42 PM Sunday July 23, 2017 to a report of an extrication crash Golf Road and Highland Boulevard Schaumburg, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash involving a blue Chrysler Aspen SUV and a white Toyota RAV4.
Rescuers received a report of a two people trapped with a child inside, and a smell of gasoline at the crash scene.
A crew on arrival reported two vehicles with heavy damage.
A second ambulance was requested by 12:45 p.m. based on report of the crash scene.
Third ambulance requested by 1:03 PM — A51 assigned as third ambulance.

Second patient in process of extrication at 1:06 PM
All patients were out of vehicles by 1:28 PM. Two patients were transported to hospitals, and two people signed medical releases.
