Cook County Sheriff’s police deputies about 4:00 PM Friday July 21, 2017 responded to a report of attempted child abduction near 4000 Triumvera Drive Northfield, IL. Police received a report that a male driver asked an 11-year-old to get in the trunk of the vehicle.
The suspect was described as a male/white, 40-50 years-old, 5’11” wearing a black baseball cap.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a white pickup truck hauling a U-Haul trailer with a purple sports car on the trailer.
No direction of travel of the vehicles and trailer was available.
