Chicago police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:50 PM Friday June 16, 2017 to a report of two children shot near Joseph Warren Elementary School 9239 South Jeffery Ave Chicago, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that two children shot.
Engine 46’s crew reported they have two patients. Ambulance 71 transported one female patient, age 7, Code Red to Comer Children’s Hospital.
Ambulance 22 transported one female patient, age 13, Code Red to Comer Children’s Hospital.
At the hospital, both girls were listed in serious condition, but their injuries were not initially believed to be life-threatening.
Shots were reported fired from a vehicle, and apparently bullets hit two girls that were attending a school picnic.
