Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:53 PM Tuesday responded to a report of a motorcycle crash with injuries at Dundee Road and Schoenbeck Road Wheeling, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a serious crash, reporting two people injured on the motorcycle — BC24 and A24 assigned.
Battalion Chief 24 requested a second engine for manpower, based on description of the crash.
Ambulance 23 on arrival reported one car and a motorcycle in a crash with two patients down on the ground.
Battalion Chief 24 requested a third ambulance to the scene — Ambulance 42 assigned.
Extra paramedics were aboard each Ambulance 23 and Ambulance 24 during patient transport.
Two patients were transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Ambulance 42 transported one patient to Glenbrook Hospital.
