Glendale Heights police responded about 4:27 p.m. Tuesday May 2, 2017 to a report of a home invasion in the 1000 block Spruce Street. Four teenage girls on broke into a Glendale Heights apartment and attacked a young resident and his friends with a taser/stun gun, according to police.
The four high-school-aged girls forced their way into the apartment and used a taser/stun gun to attack about eight other teens, Glendale Heights Police Sgt. Michael Pentecost said. The girls took off in a black 2017 Nissan Sentra sedan.
The boy’s parents were not home at the time, and it was unknown whether the two groups of teenagers knew each other. The girls were described as four female/Hispanic subjects, described as high school age or slightly older. They were last seen near Shorewood Drive/2nd Street and Cedar Street.
The four girls are wanted for home invasion and battery.
There is no risk to the community, according to Pentecost.
