UPDATE: A casualty report of 19 dead and 50 injured was released about 12:15 a.m. Local Time Tuesday in Manchester, UK.
A second package was detonated near the Manchester Arena, and has been destroyed in a controlled detonation. The package was discovered to be a bag of clothing.

Manchester police and firefighters responded about 10:30 p.m. Local Time Monday to the Manchester Arena to multiple reports of an explosion.
There were confirmed fatalities after “reports” of an explosion at a stadium venue in the northern United Kingdom city of Manchester.
Singer Ariana Grande had been performing at the Manchester Arena, which is an indoor arena.
“Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena. “There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured.”

Witnesses reported hearing a huge bang at the venue, Sky News said on Monday.
A video posted on Twitter showed fans screaming and running inside the venue.
The United Kingdom is on its second-highest alert level of “severe” meaning an attack by militants is considered highly likely.

The explosion is believed to have occurred outside near a main foyer in a ticket area of the Manchester Arena. The capacity of Manchester Arena is 21,000. Attendance at previous concerts of Grande’s Dangerous Woman tour 6,000 to 26,000 since the concert tour started opened on February 3, 2017 in Phoenix.
