A Des Plaines teen, who was accidentally shot in the face by his younger brother Saturday, May 20, 2017 has died.
Des Plaines police and firefighter/paramedics responded Saturday morning to the block of 2100 David Drive to a report that the boy was shot.
The 15-year-old boy was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where died Monday afternoon.
The teen’s 11-year-old sibling shot the teen in the face Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Des Plaines Police Department. No additional details regarding any names or ownership of the gun were released.
