Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:31 AM Thursday to a report of crash with injuries at Dundee Road and Hicks Road Palatine, Il. Firefighters and police arrived to find a two-car crash with one car hitting a red light standard and coming to rest in the Speedway gas station property.

A second ambulance was requested at 11:40 a.m. — Arlington Heights Ambulance 4 was assigned.

Both vehicles had heavy damage. The blue sedan had moderate-to-severe door damage on the driver’s side. The driver needed to be extricated from the blue sedan.
