The Arlington Heights Public Works Department with an elevated bucket and the Arlington Heights Police Department with an Animal Control officer responded to Sunset Meadow park Wednesday to rescue a duck that was caught in a tree. The female duck became entangled in kite string, according to the official Facebook and Twitter accounts from the Village of Arlington Heights.
An elevated bucket from a Public Works Forestry Department truck raised up an Arlington Heights Police Department Animal Control Officer to rescue the duck at Sunset Meadows Park located at Kirchhoff Road and Dwyer Avenue.
