Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:01 AM Monday, January 30, 2017 of criminal damage to property at 35 South Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged part of the underground parking garage by putting several holes in a ceiling access tunnel. The cost to repair the damage is estimated at over $5,000.
Some disorderly conduct and other criminal activity has been reported at the underground garage recently.
On Tuesday January 24, 2017 about 10:30 p.m. a homeless individual among a group of other homeless individuals falsely reported an armed robbery with a sawed off shotgun. One man was transported to the hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.
A discovery of smeared feces was also reported Monday morning. The crime was reported to have occurred on Monday, January 30, 2017 between 06:00 AM and 06:30 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 00:30 (hours: minutes).
The crime involving holes in the ceiling was discovered at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.
