Streamwood police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:30 AM Sunday to a report of car vs motorcycle crash with injuries at Sutton Road and Irving Park Road Streamwood, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a motorcyclist hit by a vehicle on Sutton Road just south of the Fifth Third Bank.
Crews on arrival discovered a male motorcyclist unconscious. A Flight for Life helicopter was requested to the scene.
The patient was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital — departing the crash scene landing zone by 12:35 p.m.
A male, age 19, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Sutton Road (Route 59) when the crash occurred with a Kia SUV, according to police.
The Streamwood Police Department and the Serious Traffic Crash Reconstruction team were on the scene for an extended accident investigation.
