Oak Brook police responded about 3:55 PM Monday to a report of a retail theft and aggravated assault at TJ Maxx, 2155 22nd Street Oak Brook, IL. Police received a report that four male black offenders arrived in a gray Toyota 4-door. The vehicle, believed to be a stolen vehicle, fled the scene and later crashed near the Macy’s store at Oakbrook Center mall after the retail theft and aggravated assault at TJ Maxx.
The four male male/black suspects initially fled in the Toyota westbound on 22nd Street from Midwest Road after the TJ Maxx crime.
Suspect #1 at the TJ Maxx was described as a male/black, age 27, wearing dread locks with a thin build.
All other suspects were described as male/blacks about age 27 with thin builds.
After the crash of the Toyota, which apparently involved a police pursuit, three suspects were initially in custody, and one suspect was at large.
The fourth suspect was in custody by 4:22 p.m.
The initial crime at TJ Maxx is reported to have occurred at 3:55 p.m.
