Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:31 AM Saturday, Janurary 14, 2017 to downed power lines at 11 West Hawthorne Street Arlington Heights, IL. Firefighter/paramedics received a report of power lines down across a sidewalk after a transformer blew. A caller reported no arcing in the area.
There was a small power outage in the neighborhood. ComEd at 9:00 a.m. did not yet have a report on the outage, but had a report out by 9:45 a.m. There was a short-duration power outage in several nearby neighborhoods lasting about one minute.
Estimated restoration is 12:00 p.m.
