LIVE: Shooting at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida. This video was live about 1:50 p.m. ET.
A large crowd of people ran out of the terminal at Ft. Lauderdale Airport after shots were fired at the airport Friday afternoon about 1:00 p.m. ET.
Former George W. Bush Administration White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer was at the airport when the shooting occurred. He reported early that police said there was one shooter and five victims.
The initial shooting occurred in Terminal 2 in a lower level baggage area.
About 2:20 p.m. ET there was additional shooting reported with police telling people to stay down and take cover. Additional gunshots were heard after 2:20 p.m. ET. There was also a report of emergency activity in Terminal 1.
