Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:08 PM Tuesday to a report of a crash with injuries at Arlington Heights Road and Higgins Road Elk Grove Village, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of three or four cars involved in a crash with injuries.
Engine 8’s crew on arrival reported heavy damage on two or three vehicles with some people walking around by 12:13 p.m.
There was a lot of debris in the intersection and three vehicles received serious damage.
Engine 8’s crew requests an entrapment response and an ambulance response by 12:15 p.m.
Initially during assessment, a crew reported two definite patient transports and possibly another transport or a medical refusal at the crash scene.
Fire command reported two Advanced Life Support patients transported, one Basic Life Support patient transported, and three medical refusals.
