Lake in the Hills police and Huntley firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:55 p.m. Tuesday to a call for an unresponsive person in a townhouse in the block of 2300 Daybreak Drive. Lake in the Hills police and the Huntley Fire Department firefighter/paramedics entered the residence after forcibly entering the front door. Three people were located dead inside the home.
Neighbors believe that the deceased are a mother and her two children, a boy about 11 years old, and a girl about 8 years old. Police have not confirmed the neighbors’ information, but have said the incident appears to be isolated without any threat to the public.
