Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:37 PM Monday to a report of smoke in the basement at a house at 730 South Mitchell Avenue Arlington Heights, Il. Tower Ladder 1’s crew on arrival reported light smoke showing from the house about 7:37 p.m.
Tower Ladder 1’s crew reported all residents were out of the house by 7:38 a.m.
A crew in the basement reported a small contents fire in a closet that was extinguished.
The fire was declared out by 7:42 p.m. Firefighters were checking for extension and found no extension near the closet.
