Illinois State police and Palatine and Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:45 AM Tuesday to a report of crash with entrapment at Route 53 and Rand Road Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a semi-trailer truck crash with a Ford, and that a woman was trapped by a blocked door, but not injured.
Palatine Fire Department Quint 83’s crew on arrival reported a semi-trailer truck and a Ford Explorer involved in a crash.
Quint 83’s crew reported no entrapment, but extensive blockage on the ramp.
Palatine Fire Department Ambulance 83’s crew was evaluating one patient.
The crash on the ramp from northbound Route 53 to eastbound US 12 (Rand Road) was also reported on Waze.
