Engine 39’s crew on arrival reported crews were working on a patient in cardiac arrest at the crash scene on the Palatine Road bridge over Milwaukee Ave.
Police shutting down eastbound Palatine by 12:17 p.m.
Firefighters confirmed there was no extrication needed. Two people injured — one suffering possible traumatic cardiac arrest.
A9 transporting to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital about 12:32 p.m.
