Illinois State police and Long Grove firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:42 PM Sunday to a report of rollover truck crash with injuries at Lake Cook Road and Route 53 Long Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a truck rolled over on the exit ramp from northbound Route 53 to westbound Lake Cook Road.
The driver was out of the vehicle before firefighter/paramedics arrived. Firefighter/paramedics checked carefully for any additional passengers because of a language barrier. Most out of town crews (Lincolnshire-Riverwoods and Lake Zurich) were returned with confirmation that no extrication was necessary.
The truck was carrying paper, and the load was scattered across the ramp area.
The crash and debris were cleared overnight.
