The Arlington Heights Fire Department Open House will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Fire Station #1, located at 300 East Sigwalt Street, adjacent to Village Hall. Free parking is available in the Village’s Municipal Garage.
The event recognizes Fire Prevention Week, which is October 9-15. This year’s campaign is “Don’t wait – Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years.” The goal is to educate the public about basic but essential elements of smoke alarm safety.
The Fire Department Open House will include the Fire Safety Trailer, equipment and informational displays, demonstrations, tours of the fire station, and Sparky the Fire Dog. This is your chance to get a close-up view of the work firefighters do, the equipment they use and the place they stay while on duty protecting the residents of Arlington Heights.
Please join the Arlington Heights Fire Department at our Fire Prevention Week Open House on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
