Illinois State Police responded about 11:48 AM Thursday to a report of shots fired on the Eisenhower Expressway I-290 eastbound near Central Ave Chicago, IL. Police received a report that a passenger in a white newer model Jaguar with dealer plates fired a weapon at another car.
At 12:36 p.m. area police officer were alerted that the suspects in the white Jaguar are wanted for HOMICIDE.
Police received a report that a passenger in the rear driver’s side seat of the Jaguar fired a black Glock weapon at a blue Ford Focus. The victim’s vehicle was reported to have exited the expressway at Central Avenue.
At least one person in the vehicle has died.

Police received a report that the passenger fired the weapon six or seven times.
The Jaguar was last seen eastbound on I-290. The passenger in the white Jaguar is wanted for homicide.
The crime is reported to have occurred 11:48 a.m.
At 12:15 p.m. traffic congestion appears to be on the outbound (westbound) side.

For Thursday September 29, 2016 this brings news that two people were killed in separate shootings on the Eisenhower Expressway.
The first shooting occurred about 5:30 a.m. on the outbound lanes of I-290 near South Laramie Avenue. An offender shot victims Johnathon David Ortiz, a rapper known as “John Doe” and his girlfriend, Alexis Garcia.
In the second shooting on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway near Central Avenue, the victim drove himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was pronounced dead.
Laramie Avenue and Central Avenue are only about 2600 feet apart along the Eisenhower Expressway.
A friend or family member was notified of the death and was at the West Suburban Medical Center Emergency Room by about 12:45 p.m., but police have not released the identity of second fatal shooting victim.
