Deerfield police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:58 PM Friday to a report of three kids stranded on a tall water tower at Kates Rd and Railroad Tracks Deerfield, IL.
Firefighter/paramedics received a report from police on the scene that three kids were on the water tower near the Kates Road bridge and the railroad tracks.

Firefighter/paramedics were preparing for rescue, and setting up lighting as rescue operations may progress through sunset into darkness. Sunset Friday in Deerfield is about 7:34 p.m. CDT.
Paramedics were in communication with three children of unknown age. All three children reported they had no middle issues and “were fine.”
