Rosemont police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:30 PM Thursday to a report of a possible Meth Lab at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 9480 West Higgins Road Rosemont, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics were investigating hotel floors — especially floors 3, 4, and 5 at the Hampton Inn & Suites for a possible Meth Lab. Firefighters were searching floors wearing Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
During a Hazmat incident at the Hampton Inn Hotel with a possible Meth Lab, firefighters possibly rescued 5 people from the fourth floor by 6:37 p.m.
Firefighters set off Fire Alarm about 6:53 p.m. to evacuate the building.
Firefighters were initially evacuating the third, fourth and fifth floors while wearing SCBA.
Hotel evacuated.
