Ambulance 4 added to the call by 10:09 p.m. on report of the number of people trapped.
Crew on arrival reports a car on fire at 10:10 p.m. The car that requires extrication is not on fire.
Battalion Chief 4 requests an additional engine company by 10:13 p.m. — Engine 6 assigned.
Car fire extinguished by 10:16 p.m. Truck 2 and Engine 5’s crew working on extrication. One confirmed patient.
Extrication complete by 10:23 p.m. Three subjects in the second vehicle fled on foot.
The victim that died was identified as 49-year-old Denise Cavada, according to Morton Grove police.
A witness reported two cars were racing on Golf Road when they collided with an SUV.
