Surveillance video from a Texaco gas station on Lee Street in Atlanta’s Oakland City neighborhood Sunday 8:30 p.m. shows two men shot at each other over the top of a black Dodge Charger.
Police said the incident began after a man carrying a gun followed another man out of the convenience store. The man being followed reached into the Charger and pulled out an AK-style pistol.
The man who was following him dived for cover and put his hands up, apparently pleading for his life to be spared, police said.
Seconds later, several shots rang out, all hitting the windshield. Police said neither gunman was hit, but a female passenger in the Dodge Charger was hit in the shoulder.
She and the man with the AK-style pistol walked into the gas station and called 911. The woman was treated at a hospital and released.
Police are investigating the shooting, and there is additional video from another camera that is not displayed in the video above. There is no word yet on a motive, and no arrests were immediately announced.
