The woman who called the cops on Chris Brown says the singer pulled a gun on her because she was admiring a piece of jewelry … and afterwards his people demanded she sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Police confirmed they responded to a woman’s 911 call at the singer’s residence. Multiple media outlets report the woman claimed Brown pointed a gun at her before she ran out to call the police.
“Mr. Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for ADW — assault with a deadly weapon,” LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez told reporters at about 5 p.m. local time (7 p.m. CDT). Brown is expected be formerly booked sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, police said.
Alleged victim Baylee Curran told Harvey Levin in a recorded interview that she was admiring a diamond cross necklace when Chris Brown became annoyed before displaying a gun. She said she didn’t try to take it or hold it, but Chris pulled out a gun, pointed it at her and threatened her with the gun.
She said a man was selling diamond watches and necklaces on the property before the men apparently became suspicious about her actions. Curran said following the gun threat, Chris Brown tried to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and she refused. Instead, she said she grabbed her cellphone out of Chris Brown’s hand and made a run for it.
Curran refused to answer Levy when asked whether there were drugs on the premise.
After police responded, there was a 13-hour standoff in Tarzana, California. Tarzana is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region west of the city of Los Angeles and northwest of Beverly Hills. Tarzana is a mostly residential community where several celebrities are residents.
