Libertyville police responded to an attempted burglary just after 4:30 am. Tuesday August 23, 2016 after two offenders backed a black or dark-colored pickup truck into the front store window of Just Target Guns, 322 Peterson Road in Libertyville.
Security video shows two individuals wearing masks and backpacks exited the truck and quickly walked around the sales floor before returning to the vehicle. All of the guns in the store were secured, so the offenders were unable to steal any guns.
Knives were accessible in broken display cases and rubble, but none of the knives were reported missing.
