Waukegan police responded about 9:00 p.m. Wednesday August 17, 2016 to an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station, 2720 Washington Street in Waukegan. Two men wearing masks and white gloves and armed with handguns entered the gas station and demanded money from the clerk.
The clerk was pepper-sprayed by one of the offenders during the robbery, but was not seriously injured, police said.
Both suspects fled on foot. Police did not disclose the amount of money taken during the robbery.

Suspect #1 about 5’8″ with a thin build, wearing a gray, long-sleeved shirt with black over the shoulders.
Suspect #2 about 6’00” with a heavy build, wearing a jersey shirt with blue sleeves.
