Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:36 PM Thursday of a purse theft at Salsa 17 at 17 West Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s black, foldable Coach wallet from her purse while the purse was slung over a chair.
The purse contained the victim’s debit card, credit card, driver’s license and $20 US Currency. The value of the wallet and its contents are $120.00.
The offenders then unlawfully used the victim’s credit card to make a large purchase at Target. The restaurant’s surveillance video captured three suspects who appeared to be working together.
The suspects are described as being black females.
Subject #1 was wearing a white shirt and dark pants, holding a pink purse.
Subject #2 was wearing a dark jacket and gray pants.
Subject #3 was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
The subjects were last seen walking westbound on Campbell Street from the restaurant.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, July 14, 2016 between 6:18 PM and 7:35 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 1:17 (hours: minutes).
