Strong Armed Robbery While Customer Was Bringing Money to Fifth Third Bank on Sunset Ave and Green Bay Rd, Waukegan

Waukegan police responded about 12:42 PM Monday to a strong armed robbery at the Fifth Third Bank, 3431 Sunset Avenue Waukegan, IL. Police received a report that a customer was robbed while bringing in a drop bag into the bank. Police received a report that the suspect took $10,000 that was being transported in the drop bag.

The suspect is described as a male/black, age 20-30, 5’11” to 6′ wearing a red hoodie and blue shorts.

The suspect got into the passenger side of a dark blue 4-door Jeep. The Jeep was driven westbound from the scene.
